Dear Yalli, I don,t know if you remember me? I am Mark Staehely,s Mom. We met at the Bear Ball several years ago when you and Mark were their guests. I have pictures of you and Mark dancing. I came across your web-site and I ca,t believe that you are all grown up and so beautiful. We lost Mark 5 years on March 7th. We have started a foundation called Makeyourmark7.org to raise money for pediatric cancer research to carry on Marks legacy of love compassion and service to others. I think what your doing with your handbags is amazing. I just thought about you a few weeks ago and then i saw your web-site. I just wanted to tell you how wonderful it is to see what you are doing . Plese take care. Sue Staehely
I saw your story on ABC News and knew I’d have to purchase one of your carry on bags. You see, my daughter was a cancer patient (Hodgkins Disease) at Children’s Memorial 33 years ago; she was cancer free for 25 years; then she was diagnosed with breast cancer 8 years ago and had a bilateral mastectomy; after 5 years the breast cancer metastasized to the bones and then the liver; two weeks ago we learned it had metastasized to the brain and she is now fighting that new horror. She has always been the most positive, upbeat person I know and I bought one of your bags in her honor. Keep up the good work and best of luck in your future endeavors!
Thank you so much for the kind words! It’s families like yours that this bag is meant to represent and support! I hope you enjoy your bag!
What a beautiful bag, made by a beautiful person, with an inspiring story! I am so happy to see that you are thriving as a student, artist , and survivor.
Sending you a BIG HUG and a kiss,
Did/Does this bag come in turquoise as the main color, not in the peacock???
You’re story is truly inspirational! I was a patient of your father’s 15 years ago. He showed so much compassion and caring. And made some hard times easier! I knew you were sick back then and have never stopped thinking about you and your family! So glad to hear that your have done such incredible things in your life! I have 3 daughters that I will pass your inspiration to! Thank You!
